We began trading several years ago as an offshoot of Roger Young Land Rover, operating under the name of Holmbush Commercial Hire. Back then, we just hired Land Rover Defenders to the local aggregate and utility companies, and quickly built up a reputation for 4×4 hire in the local community.
Owing to continued growth in the market, we became a stand-alone limited company in 2014 and we re-branded as Holmbush Hire.
Over the years our fleet has expanded and grown to suit the market, and we now have a varied fleet consisting of Defenders, Discoverys, Range Rovers, Isuzu pick-up trucks, vans and commercial 4x4s with tachographs fitted.
Today, our customers choose to hire vehicles from us for many reasons, the most popular reason being for towing. We aim to make hiring a vehicle to tow with as hassle free as possible by providing a jargon free service and providing complimentary extras to make things easy, such as spare number plates for your trailer and towing electrics adapters.
In addition to hiring vehicles to tow with, we also have many customers who choose us for their holiday and leisure vehicle hire requirements, as well as providing executive transport solutions for businesses, luxury travel consultants, high net worth individuals and the film and television industry. We also supply various businesses, utility companies and local authorities with commercial 4×4 vehicles.
Whilst we operate from one site in Saltash, our short and long term hire customer base spreads across the U.K from Scotland to the South-East. We operate a national delivery and collection service and all of our vehicles are maintained on-site to strict main dealer standards. In addition to this, every vehicle on our fleet, be it for short term hire or long term hire, has full breakdown assistance in the UK and Europe.
We pride ourselves on delivering honest and bespoke customer service and unlike many vehicle hire companies, we don’t have any hidden charges or complicated terms and conditions.
